PENTAGON UNVEILS HEGSETH'S REVOLUTIONARY “NO MORE NERDS” WARFIGHTING DOCTRINE

Defense secretary says America's enemies have exploited nation's dangerous dependence on people who understand things

Pentagon officials say the new doctrine will replace technical expertise with grit, confidence, and significantly tighter shirts.

— Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced Monday that the Pentagon will begin removing mathematicians, logisticians, statisticians and other “nerd-adjacent personnel” from critical military planning positions under a sweeping new warfighting doctrine designed to make America's armed forces considerably less knowledgeable but much harder-looking.

“For too long we've confused knowing stuff with strength,” Hegseth said at a Pentagon ceremony attended by senior officers, conservative influencers and three extremely muscular men nobody could identify. “China has calculators. Russia has calculators. You know what they don't have? American grit.”

Under the No More Nerds Initiative, military personnel requiring corrective lenses will face immediate review, while officers caught using phrases such as “supply-chain capacity,” “force sustainability” or “weather conditions” must complete remedial training at a CrossFit facility outside Quantico.

The Pentagon's first test came during weekend exercises when an armored brigade advancing across Nevada stopped after 63 miles because planners had dismissed fuel calculations as “spreadsheet warfare.”

“That's exactly the kind of defeatist thinking we're eliminating,” Hegseth said when reporters mentioned the stranded vehicles.

Officials initially classified the exercise as unsuccessful before Hegseth personally corrected the designation to Aggressive Stationary Dominance.

Reaction among troops was mixed.

“I don't know what the fuck we're doing,” said Staff Sergeant Kyle Benson while standing beside nine fuel-starved armored vehicles. “But command gave everybody sleeveless uniforms yesterday, so morale's weird.”

Pentagon officials said the doctrine will next target military meteorologists, whom Hegseth reportedly considers “government weathermen.”

“Warriors don't ask whether it's raining,” Hegseth explained. “They make the enemy wonder why it's raining freedom.”

Asked how the United States would conduct modern warfare without engineers, analysts, logisticians and technical specialists, Hegseth stared silently at the reporter for several seconds.

He then removed his sunglasses.

“Exactly.”

The Pentagon subsequently classified the exchange as a victory.
